Q: How do I know if occupational therapy is a good fit for my child?

Prior to scheduling an evaluation, we provide free virtual/phone consultations to discuss our services in detail and to answer any of your questions.

Q: Where do sessions take place?

We are a mobile practice, which means we come to your home for therapy. We believe in the importance of working in a child’s natural environment and having caregivers involved in therapy sessions to support carry-over of the skills being learned.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

Rooted Together is an out-of-network provider, meaning we do not accept insurance. This allows us to provide individualized care to your child without the constraints of insurance, such as set visit limits. We are able to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement of services. Please contact us directly for more information on the cost of our services and the superbill process.

Q: Do I need a referral from my child’s pediatrician?

Yes, you are required to obtain an OT referral from your doctor prior to beginning services.
